"You are my gift. I don't need anything else." Caleb pressed one more kiss to Essek's cheek before he drew back enough to cast his Tower. A home they'll share for tonight and for however long they are alone on the road. Perhaps in the future they'll share a real home instead of a magical one. He was getting ahead of himself though.
He took Essek's hand in his and led him through the door to the warm interior which was changed slightly to be better suited to two people instead of the Nein. The dining area was changed to be more intimate and there was a sitting area with a comfortable couch and chairs. Suited to two instead.
In the shelter of the Tower Caleb finally shed the layers that protected him from the cold outside. While he had long sleeves on his tunic he no longer wore the bandages to hide his scars. He was comfortable enough to take his hair up in a loose bun on top of his head.
The cat servants still remain, of course and are eagerly waiting to take their outerwear and get them dinner.
