Essek's words were certain and simple but they sent a bolt of wanting trembling through his body. Caleb deliberately took a deep breath to steady himself. He would not rush Essek into anything. Kisses and conversations were more than enough for Caleb. They were everything when it came to Essek.

"I am glad to hear that," he said gently brushes his lips against Essek's neck. "But I want you to do only what you are comfortable with. I do not mind waiting if you want time."

He would wait forever if Essek asked him to. Caleb was happy just like this if that was all Essek gave him. The want in his gaze said otherwise but Caleb knew that he could control himself.

"I didn't run away to the wilds here just ravish you. No matter what Jester thinks we do every time we are alone together." He rolled his eyes with fondness think of his friend and her wild imagination.
