"I never imagined I would love again." Caleb took Essek by both hands and led him to the edge of the bed. He sat and coaxed the drow into his lap. It was quickly becoming his favorite way to sit with Essek. It allowed Caleb plenty of freedom to move and plenty of Essek to kiss.
"The Nein," he murmured as he trailed kisses along Essek's neck. "They cracked me open but you, Essek, you tore everything down. You left me no choice but to love you."
In a way vastly different from the love Caleb felt for the Nein. Because he did love them. He loved Veth. He loved Beau. But what he felt for Essek was consuming. It pulled him in and now he could not escape. He did not want to. Not anymore.
